This is a question far too many people would like to answer for others around them, but I see it as between you and God. It is the job of the Holy Spirit to point out sin and no one else.
Where is it found that Jesus told His disciples to go and define sin so that people will stop sinning? In fact Jesus said to preach the Gospel, the good news. They where to tell the people, you don’t have to be sick, poor, or broken because Jesus came that you might have life. And not just any life, He wants you to have abundant life, full of all good things. This is good news, this is The Gospel. Sin is sin, it will help no one for you or me to define it for them. They know what makes them feel good on the inside and God will use this to guide them along the path of His plan that leads to abundant life.
The only reason to define sin is perhaps when someone asks you what sin is, and only then we should look to the Bible and help them understand what The Word says about sin. This is meant to help them in their walk and not to show me as superior to them because I called them out.
Be blessed! Be free from sin, and have abundant life!
I was just reading in 1 john 5:4 “…and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith”
This is so refreshing to know that we can beat this! We are not subject to the whims of this failing system the Bible calls the world. And it is not with a secret that only a few have but with faith that we all have or can have when we accept Jesus.
In Romans 12:2-4 God tells us this:
2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
3For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
4For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: (Romans 12:2-4, King James Version)
So do you want to live in this world and yet be free from it? You can by renewing your mind -keep your head in The Word!
Who wants to be a … Millionaire?
Would you go on that game show if you know you could not loose? Yes, and so would I. So we want to be rich, there is nothing wrong with that! In fact the only thing that stops us is sin -going against God’s Word. So how can we understand what going against God’s Word is? That is what I want to talk about today.
Let’s cover the area of sin. It is anything that stops God’s plan for your life. For more detail you will have to pray because only Jesus -the one who paid for your sins can say what sin is for you. There are many people who like to define sin and they mean well but you must seek God to know for yourself.
The first thing is to get to know who Jesus is to understand anything to do with the things of God. When Jesus preached here on the earth He used examples everyone could understand. He did not use lofty thoughts with fancy words to make people feel the “need” to join the group so they would be cool too. Instead He used plants, mountains, and seeds. He cursed a tree and blessed the bread to get the point across that they had an Heavenly Father that loved them.
So how do we get rich? What did Jesus say?
38Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. (Luke 6:38, King James Version)
So it is really simple, you give and it will come back multiplied! Could this be the key to getting rich and having all you want? YES! It is that simple and so much more then just money.
Be free and open to the ways of The BLESSING and God will do great things in your life!
Be BLESSED!
In my reading today a thought came to me.
Putting God first in your money will give you room to make mistakes and still survive and prosper. Example: Jesus had Judas as treasurer who was stealing and they still had enough to give to the poor and keep at least 12 people fed daily.
On the other hand if God is not first then you will not have a bag for Judas to steal from because putting God first in money is the foundation of our income. If you tried to build a house without first building a foundation it would not set long before the place would fall apart.
Then to make money and put God first you will be shored up on The Rock of our salvation. Or to make money and not put God first would make the house on a sandy river bed ready for the next little bit of water to wash it away.
So in my life I will always keep God’s plan at heart when I think of what to do with my money.

16Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
This sounds like a Mission Statement by the head of the Church to me.
In the NASB instead of “ordained” it uses “appointed” either way we are chosen and then given the tools needed to get the job done of producing more of us! Now we can ask whatever of the Father in the name of Jesus and He will give it to us. Wow.
Like many of His people, Jesus is a good investor; He found you and me, people who will give Him good ROI.
Be BLESSED!

This was sent to me on email and I thought it was worth passing on.
Thought you might enjoy this interesting
prayer given in Kansas at
the opening session of their Senate. It seems
prayer still upsets some
people. When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open
the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is what they heard:
Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask
your forgiveness and to seek your direction and
guidance. We know Your Word says, ‘Woe to those
who call evil good,’ but that is exactly what we
have done.
We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed
our values.
We have exploited the poor and called it
the lottery.
We have rewarded laziness and called it
welfare.
We have killed our unborn and called it
choice.
We have shot abortionists and called it
justifiable.
We have neglected to discipline our
children and called it building self esteem..
We have abused power and called it
politics.
We have coveted our neighbor’s possessions
and called it ambition ..
We have polluted the air with profanity and
pornography and called it freedom of expression.
We have ridiculed the time-honored values
of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.
Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts
today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free.
Amen!
The response was immediate. A number of
legislators walked out during the prayer in
protest. In 6 short weeks, Central Christian
Church, where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than
5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls
responding negatively. The church is now receiving
international requests for copies of this prayer
from India , Africa and Korea .
Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on
his radio program, ‘The Rest of the Story,’and
received a larger response to this program than any
other he has ever aired.
With the Lord’s help, may this prayer sweep
over our nation and wholeheartedly become our
desire so that we again can be called ’one nation
under God.’
This may seem like an odd question yet many people quote Phil 4:19 without reading the rest of the chapter.
Paul was talking about a church that gave more then once and more then a little when he said “My God Shall…”.
Yes there is a qualifier to getting wealthy God’s way and it means meeting the needs of the body of Christ first and then He can meet your needs over and above. Look here in Luke 6:38
It really does work, and we are the key. God is doing His part we must do ours.
